Next Gen Improv Studio gives middle schoolers the chance to stretch their creativity, sharpen their quick thinking, and grow as performers in a fun, supportive space. Each month, up to 10 students come together to play collaborative games, build characters, and build upon the fundamentals of improv while developing confidence and stage presence. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to take risks! After the session, students get to put their new skills into practice by opening for the Business Casual Team during their monthly show from 6:00–7:15pm. It’s the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and live performance, designed to help young improvisers find their voice and shine in front of an audience.

This class will be taught by Annie Jackson!
Annie is a seasoned improv instructor with a wealth of experience in both improv techniques and child development, this course offers a unique blend of laughter and learning. Annie graduated from UWEC with a degree in music education and has extensive experience in teaching adaptive music, piano, voice and more and specializes in individualized growth for her students. Annie’s unique ability to meet her students where they are at and bring the best out of them have made her a highly sought after teacher in working with students of all different abilities.
