The Yooper is Oh Claire Improv's annual Halloween show! Written by staff member JP Fry, The Yooper is a comedic homage to all of the 80's slasher films you grew up watching. The show will include, live practical effects like fake blood and fake gore and is meant to make you laugh your way through October.

“Dumb and naive teenagers, Kyle, Becky, Mike, Jessica and Francis enroll in a summer band camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Everything seems to be going fine until they arrive at the camp and things are not how they were last year. They encounter a new “cool” counselor, a wise janitor who has seen and heard it all, and worst of all, THE YOOPER!

Will any of them make it out of summer camp alive? Or will each of them perish to the Yooper in one ridiculous and hilarious way after another... You'll only find out if you come and watch.... THE YOOPER!”
